PKU-CAM Excel EMI Project
The Peking University Cambridge research team jointly constructed an EMI teacher teaching ability evaluation framework, providing scientific basis for improving teacher teaching ability and training. Promote teacher training, level certification, and ability enhancement. Forming the network of EMI in the DI-IDEA alliance.

The opportunities and challenges faced by education and academic development in the digital intelligence era are common topics for higher education institutions worldwide. Exchanges and mutual learning among universities from different countries and regions will play a leading role in the joint development of global universities in response to the impact of digitization.
What we do
The purpose of the alliance is to: strengthen cooperation among member universities and jointly address the major challenges humanity faces in the digital intelligence era; attempt to provide solutions through collaboration in the fields of digitization and intelligence; promote high-quality development of higher education through educational informatization, and lead the globalization of education with educational informatization; explore governance methods in the digital intelligence era, providing academic support and policy suggestions for the harmonious development of human society in the digital intelligence era.

Digital Intelligence Education Development International Innovation Forum: Digitalization and the Future of Global Higher Education Held
On the morning of November 3, 2023, the Beijing Forum (2023) officially launched the Digital Intelligence Education Development International University Alliance (DI-IDEA) project. From November 3rd to 4th, the ninth sub-forum of the Beijing Forum (2023), hosted by the Department of International Cooperation, Office of Academic Affairs, and the Center for Faculty Teaching Development of Peking University, was held at the Science Lecture Hall of Zhongguan New Garden, Peking University. This sub-forum was the first member activity of the DI-IDEA, where renowned experts and scholars from Asia, Europe, and America gathered at Yan Garden to discuss 'Digital Intelligence Education Development International Innovation Forum: Digitalization and the Future of Global Higher Education,' addressing the development of global higher education in the era of digitalization and intelligence.

The first working meeting of the IDigital Intelligence International Development Education Alliance(DI-IDEA) was held
On the afternoon of February 29, 2024, the first working meeting of theDigital Intelligence International Development Education Alliance (DI-IDEA) was held simultaneously online and offline. Gong Qihuang, President of Peking University, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. More than 20 people from the University of Cambridge, University of Strathclyde, University of Auckland, Korea University, American University of Sharjah, Mahidol University, University of Malaya, as well as Chinese University of Hong Kong, University of Macau, Fudan University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Wuhan University, etc. Leaders and representatives of the alliance’s member universities attended the meeting.

First academic conference of the Digital Intelligence International Development Education Alliance(DI-IDEA) held at University of Cambridge
On March 26, 2024, the Digital Intelligence International Development Education Alliance (DI-IDEA) held a symposium on “AI-Powered Pedagogy: Designing the Future of Education” at the University of Cambridge. The seminar was hosted by the Digital Education Futures Initiative at the University of Cambridge, which is a member of DI-IDEA. More than 130 education scholars, administrators and industry specialists from all over the world gathered at the University of Cambridge to discuss how artificial intelligence can empower education and explore future development trends in digital education.
